This post has taken three days to write. Why? Because I can’t pick my favorite song on this album to talk about. Courtesy of Tre, the much cooler Londoner and arbiter of taste for yours truly, this album is brilliant. It’s like all my neo-soul dubstepy dreams wrapped up in the package of a South East London cool. Seriously. Just found the album that I’m going to be listening to nonstop for the next couple months. Just to demonstrate how hard it is to pick which song is the most representative of this fantastical album, listen to the two tracks below and tell me which one if your favorite. ‘Hands Are Clever’ has nailed the soulful retro sounds, while ‘Too Close’ is for people needing a more James Blake post dub-step fix.
